The Great Guide Safaris Experience
An Unscripted 'Masterclass' in the Wild
When you arrive in Zimbabwe at your airport, a Great Guide Safaris representative will meet you and personally escort you to your Fly Camp, which will have been set up exclusively for your group and will be ready and waiting for you.
Each day begins with coffee at your camp and an early game drive, with Kaz behind the wheel, tracking the morning’s sights and sounds. After breakfast back at camp, there’s time to relax before lunch and a siesta in the shade, soaking up the hum of the bush.

In the afternoon, you’ll set out on safari on foot, exploring at a slower pace and noticing the smaller details you might miss in a vehicle. The bush feels different on foot – closer, more connected, every sense engaged.
Evenings are centered around dinner and stories by the campfire, beneath a canopy of stars, surrounded by the sounds of the night.
On your final day, Kaz will see you safely back from your fly camp to the airport, bringing your adventure full circle.
This is a safari the way it’s meant to be – unhurried and immersive. Just you, your tent, and thousands of kilometers of bush to explore.
“We follow the lead of the animals, sometimes sneaking in a dawn break safari when action is unfolding.”
