Where the wilderness calls…

Our Fly Camp Locations

Our Fly Camps are set in two of Hwange’s most contrasting and iconic landscapes — the open plains and pans of Kennedy, and the remote northern wilderness of Robins.

Kennedy is a haven for elephants and plains game, with good sightings of antelope species such as sable and wildebeest. Robins offers harder ground and meandering river systems ideal for walking safaris, and is known for its healthy lion and buffalo populations.

Book a 6-night journey — three nights in each camp — and you’ll experience the contrast of both landscapes in one trip, with the option of also exploring the neighbouring Sinamatella region from Robins. If time is short, you can also book just three nights at either camp.

Each Fly Camp stay is on a full-board basis (Zimparks’ tariffs and fees excluded). However you choose to combine them, you’ll discover very different sides of Hwange.

ROBINS FLY CAMP
Northern Hwange

Visit the Robins Region in northern Hwange, home to the park’s highest concentration of lions. This area also features rare antelope species like the Tsessebe and Reedbuck. Other wildlife highlights include elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. Guided drives and walks take you to watering holes where wildlife gathers, offering incredible opportunities for observation and photography.

Guests who wish to visit the Sinamatella Region in Central Hwange, may include this in their trip while staying at Robins Fly Camp. Known for its dams and watering holes that attract large herds of elephants and buffalo, this area offers excellent walking safaris and a rare chance to track black rhinos. Other key wildlife includes lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and painted dogs. Enjoy a guided exploration of this diverse and scenic landscape.
