Under Canvas, In the Wild
There’s something undeniably magical about a Fly Camp…
Just the bare essentials – canvas, firelight and the stars. Named after the simple flysheet stretched above your tent for shade, our intimate semi-permanent fly camps bring you closer to the wild. Light on the land and eco-friendly, each camp is assembled before you arrive and removed when you leave, leaving no trace behind.
While the setting is simple and secluded, thoughtful details ensure your comfort – crisp white cotton sheets, hot water morning and evening, and delicious home-cooked meals. It’s all you need for a deeply comfortable stay, with the rare luxury of being completely immersed in Africa's untamed wild.
“True luxury lies in the experience – being this close to nature, untouched and raw.”

Breakfast
Start your day with a light breakfast before your morning activity. Options usually include fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, toast, and spreads, alongside tea, coffee, or juice. After the morning safari, enjoy a cooked breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausages, and sometimes local specialties like maize porridge.
Lunch
Lunch is typically a relaxed affair, often served buffet-style. Expect fresh salads, sandwiches, quiches, cold meats, and fruit. It’s a chance to cool down and refuel before the afternoon activities.
Afternoon Tea
Before heading out for the afternoon activity, you’ll often enjoy tea, coffee, and light snacks such as scones, muffins, or biscuits.
Dinner
Evenings are all about gathering around a campfire or at the dining table for a multi-course meal. Menus might include hearty stews, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and freshly baked bread. Dessert could be a fruit crumble, chocolate pudding or a local treat.
